Saved trips without an account
When you save or rename a trip, we place a necessary browser cookie containing a random key. It lets this browser access your saved list on our server. It lasts up to one year. We do not ask for your name or email. Clearing this cookie removes this browser’s access; keep a share link if you want to recover a copy elsewhere.
Sharing a copy
A share link opens a snapshot of your list and its title to anyone who has the link. It does not give them permission to edit your private list. Do not put personal information in a shared title. Shared pages are marked not to appear in search results. You can revoke a link from My trip; copies already saved by other people are separate.
Removing saved information
You can remove items individually, rename your list and remove each shared link from My trip. Use “Delete my trip data” below your saved list to erase the list and all share links owned by this browser, and clear its trip cookie.
Optional analytics and cookies
With your permission, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, guide reading, searches, filter choices, product views and booking-link clicks. Google Analytics uses pseudonymous browser identifiers and cookies such as _ga and _ga_*; these can last up to two years. Google processes the data under its privacy terms. Advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
We do not send search-box text, names, emails, trip titles, travel dates or private trip links to Analytics. Private trip and management pages are excluded. We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send and reduce referring addresses to their origin. A booking-link click records a referral, not a completed purchase or revenue.
We also store daily aggregate counts on our server after permission. These counts have no visitor identifier. Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to one year. Choose “Measurement preferences” in the footer to decline or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection and clears Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site; it does not erase previously collected data.
Google tags do not load before permission. Necessary saved-trip cookies work independently. Hosting infrastructure processes ordinary network request information to deliver the site. Read Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles information.
Optional Instagram posts
Instagram posts load only when you choose “Show Instagram post”. Instagram then receives the requests needed to display its content and may use cookies under its own privacy terms. You can hide the post again, or follow the source link without loading it here. This choice is separate from optional analytics.
Booking partners and maps
Ticket purchases happen on the booking partner’s website, under its own privacy and booking terms. Some links earn us a commission. The Explore map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap when you open that page. Embedded route maps load when you choose to show them; directions open Google Maps. Those services receive the network requests needed to display their content.
