Antalyakart is the local transport card for Antalya. Buying a full-fare card and adding balance is different from buying a disposable multi-ride ticket or paying by bank card. The transfer rules also differ.

The quick answer

The official FAQ excludes credit-card and disposable-ticket journeys from its free-transfer arrangement. A one-off card purchase can therefore make sense on a multi-journey stay, but do the arithmetic rather than assuming it is always cheaper for a single ride.

Where to buy and add credit

The official FAQ lists card centres, loading points and card-selling machines as purchase channels. Reload through the listed machines, outlets or official app and website. Check the displayed balance after an online top-up has been applied.

How to use it

Present the card to the vehicle reader or gate and wait for a successful validation. Keep it ready for the next journey and watch your balance. The FAQ explains that online-loaded credit is applied when the card is read at a validator or turnstile.

Fares, card costs and what they mean

At the September 2026 check, the FAQ lists a full-fare plastic card at TRY100 and ordinary travel at TRY42, compared with TRY50 by credit card. These are separate card and journey charges. Read the current tariff before relying on them for your dates.

Choose by your actual journeys

The official FAQ excludes credit-card and disposable-ticket journeys from its free-transfer arrangement. A one-off card purchase can therefore make sense on a multi-journey stay, but do the arithmetic rather than assuming it is always cheaper for a single ride.

Your planWhat to compare
One or two journeysThe ordinary fare against any card purchase cost.
Several days of travelStored value, eligible transfers and the relevant time-based pass.
Airport or regional outingIts own fare and any explicit exclusions from a city product.

Avoid buying the same benefit twice

Compare the one-time card purchase plus your expected journey fares against bank-card payment. Check the transfer conditions before assigning a saving to a second ride. After an online reload, allow for the balance to be applied when the card meets the reader.
