A promenade, a ferry crossing and a new view of the skyline. Keep the route simple and spend your time beside the water.

Hong Kong: a day around Victoria Harbour

Our suggested time allowances include breaks and buffers; they are not live opening hours or guaranteed journey times. Map pins identify the area, not your ticket’s meeting point.

DAY 1

Tsim Sha Tsui to Central

Check the ferry destination before boarding. This route uses the Central crossing; a harbour tour is a different service.

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
STOP 1 · Start · allow 60–90 min

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

Enjoy the skyline and waterfront stops before heading to the pier. Leave a flexible café or lunch break rather than fixing another attraction across town.

Getting there: Begin on the Kowloon waterfront and walk towards the Clock Tower.

Star Ferry to Central
STOP 2 · Next · allow 30–45 min including waiting

Star Ferry to Central

Use the crossing itself as part of the day. Fare and boarding arrangements depend on your chosen service; follow the pier information.

Getting there: Walk to the Star Ferry pier and follow signs for Central.

Central waterfront
STOP 3 · Finish · allow 60 min

Central waterfront

Finish with the view back to Kowloon. The hillside photo provides the wider city context; the map marks the waterfront walk.

Getting there: Walk out from the Central ferry piers; allow 15–20 min to reach your preferred promenade section.
